As our Grand Knight I am sending this invitation (attached) to our council through you. My classmates and I completed our Ordination Retreat over the weekend which bring us closer to Ordination as Deacons for the Archdiocese of Chicago.

The Ordination Ceremony is on May 25 at Holy Name Cathedral at 2:30PM, tickets are needed for admission, I am putting together a reception at St. Paul Lower level starting at 7PM.

At Thursday’s meeting Eric talked about The Pot Holes for Father Patch work that we did last year.

He is going to schedule a day and time to do this soon. Last year Eric did this by him self. The parking lot at church needs some help after the plows and the weather over the last few months. Good Afternoon , Farther Ray has given his blessing to the Knights of Columbus to hold a Columbus Day Mass 10:45am Sunday October 7th. 2012. The Knights will have a Color and Hhonor Guard at the Mass. I would also like to have the Qualified Knights perform as many functions at the Mass as possible. This would include the Lectors 1 and 2, as well as Eucharistic Minister’s, Cross bearer, Presentation of the Gifts, Etc.

Next Saturday and Sunday, April 14 & 15, is Confirmation at St. Paul the Apostle. There are two Comfirmation Masses on Saturday at 1000 and 1300, and one mass on Sunday at 1500. We will need all 4th Degree Knights with Regalia for honor guards.

It is possible that we can do an Honor Guard and corporate mass on the morning of April 14. Conrad Wencka has a Divine Mercy Painting we can process in with. It is a little short on notice but we’ll need to pick a mass, coordinate with Father Ray, and get the members to show up in their council shirts.
